Man arrested for DWI punches jailor, attempts to bite officer

A Hudson, New Hampshire man is facing numerous charges after he allegedly set off a jail cell sprinkler and punched his jailor and attempted to bite his jailor and an officer after being arrested for drunken driving on Tuesday night.

 

Around 7:45 p.m., Nashua Police responded to the Racing Mart at 27 Canal St. for a report of an intoxicated man who was attempting to drive a motor vehicle. The driver was identified as Nathaniel Rines, 24, of 9 Newton St., and he was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
