Habitual DWI Offender Sentenced To Life in Prison

A Burnet County man was sentenced to life in prison on Tuesday, after being convicted of a 7th DWI.

Officials say DWI becomes a felony offense if the person charged has previously convicted of DWI two or more times.

Stevens drove his truck into a fence while attempting to enter a gated community in Marble Falls. Stevens’ BAC was more than 3 times the legal limit.
