Essex County corrections officer accused of DWI; 3 patrol cars hit

A 35-year-old Essex County corrections officer was arrested early Sunday after allegedly slamming into three patrol cars responding to an accident on Route 3 east, officials said.

 

Alisha Williams, the corrections officer, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone and reckless driving after she drove her Chevy Camaro through a group of patrol cars at approximately 2:30 a.m.,
