Asheville woman charged with DWI twice in same day

A city woman was charged twice in the same day with driving while impaired – by the same deputy – highlighting a busy weekend for DWI arrests after the kickoff of the holiday Booze It & Lose It campaign.

Brittney Lashaun Box, 24, of Asheville Springs Circle, was charged with the first DWI at 3:58 a.m. Saturday after being stopped by Buncombe sheriff’s deputy R.C. Davis, according to warrants at the Buncombe County magistrate’s office.
