Saskatchewan man busted by RCMP on Alberta highway for alleged drunk driving, speeding with six kids in his vehicle

Allegedly found speeding down the highway drunk and half a dozen young kids in back, a Saskatchewan man faces serious charges, Mounties say.

RCMP out of Redcliff say they tagged an eastbound van at 149 km/h on Hwy. 1 near Suffield, about 7 p.m. Friday, and the situation quickly escalated from there.

When they pulled it over, the 21-year-old driver was found to be impaired with children in back.
