Sanitation Worker Charged With Drunk Driving Salt Spreader

A New York City sanitation worker was charged with drunk driving Wednesday morning when he struck a car while driving a salt spreader in Queens, police said.

 

Dewayne Ruddock, 33 years old, was on duty working to prepare for a forecast storm when he struck a parked car around 12:34 a.m. at 132nd and Rockaway Boulevard in the South Ozone Park neighborhood, police said.
