Ohio bill calls for breathalyzer device for first-time drunken driving offenders

On March 16, 2002, a drunken driver ran head on into the car in which Emily Goldsmith was a passenger.

That day Emily’s father, Dick Goldsmith, watched his 18-year-old daughter die.

“He was so far over the left, his front left tires were on the berm of their side of the road,” Goldsmith said.
