New Boston child care worker facing DWI, other charges, after arrest with child in car

A New Boston woman who allegedly was drunk while working at a child care center, then drove a car with her 5-year-old daughter in it, was arrested Friday on four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of driving while intoxicated.

Police said Casey H. Lever, 29, was reported by a local business as being intoxicated and driving away while with a child. She was pulled over on Twin Bridge Road, “showed signs of impairment” and was arrested for DWI, police said in a release. Her daughter was released to the child’s father, police said.
