Murder trial set to begin in Milford drunk-driving case

Nearly three years after the crash that killed 23-year-old Milford resident Matthew Denice, the driver – an illegal immigrant police say was drunk when he hit the motorcyclist with his pickup truck – is heading to trial today.

Nicolas Dutan Guaman, now 37, will stand trial before a judge – not a jury – in Worcester Superior Court on a second-degree murder charge, among others.
