Murder conviction upheld in DWI case

The N.C. Court of Appeals on Tuesday upheld the second-degree murder conviction of a Brunswick County man, according to a Brunswick County District Attorney’s office release.

Daniel Brennick of Southport was driving a small white pickup truck about 11 p.m. May 7, 2010, on N.C. 133 when he collided head-on with a Nissan driven by Satu Harris, a 38-year-old mother of three from Oak Island. Harris was killed in the accident.
