Man arrested on 5th DWI held on $84,500 bond

Baton Rouge Police arrested a man last week and charged him with a 5th offense DWI.


Police say 41-year-old Clifton Ray Edwards was driving eastbound on the 2600 block of Chippewa Street when he ran a red light and crashed into a parked vehicle.


Around 11 p.m. Thursday, Edwards was pulled over in the 2700 block of Plank Road.
