Police say a resident of Ireland who was visiting Long Island has been charged with driving while intoxicated with his two children in the vehicle.

James O’Connor, 25, was driving a 2012 Volkswagen Passat westbound on Middle Country Road in Selden when he was pulled over at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday for failing to maintain his lane, police say.
