Jean Attis gets charged with DWI twice in 17 hours in Keansburg

A 46-year-old Laurel Avenue man, Jean Attis, was arrested twice for driving while intoxicated within a 17-hour period between Monday and Tuesday, said Deputy Chief of Police Michael Pigott.

Attis was first arrested at 7:18 p.m. Monday after he struck a parked car and fled the scene, police said. The owner of the vehicle that was hit followed Attis in his neighbor’s car to Attis’ apartment on Laurel Avenue, Pigott said.
