Halfmoon man charged with DWI twice in two days

HALFMOON >> A Halfmoon resident was charged two days in a row with drunken driving, each time on the same road.

 

Michael Battaglia, 56, of Halfmoon was charged Dec. 22 on Plant Road after a person called in a complaint about his driving and he allegedly backed into a building. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or more, misdemeanors, as well as various infractions and violations.
