Driver gets DWI after running into bridge at high speed, police say

A Lockport man is charged with DWI and other violations after leading police on a high speed chase Tuesday night before crashing his pickup into a bridge, authorities said.

Drake Boudreaux, 20, of 198 Linda St., was in the Lafourche Parish jail Wednesday on a $66,000 bond, Lockport Police said. A breath test showed Boudreaux’s blood-alcohol content was 0.16 percent, about twice the legal limit.
