DUI suspect attempts to use tombstone to free stuck car

A Greenbrier man is facing multiple charges, including the desecration of a tombstone, after police say he crashed into a cemetery, got stuck in the mud and placed a piece of a grave marker under his front passenger tire in an attempt to free the car.

Christopher Kelly Gay, 34, faces charges of joyriding, driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license and desecration of a venerated, or revered, object in connection with the case.
