Driving under the influence in Muskogee could cost New Year’s Eve revelers more than the price of a ticket. It could easily cost more than $10,000.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol issued a media release about their intentions to watch for intoxicated drivers over the holiday.
“We are passionate and committed to the safety of Oklahomans and those traveling our roadways,” said Col. Ricky Adams, the head of the patrol. “We want to wish all a joyous and safe holiday as we do our part to make this a safe traveling holiday season.”
