OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities say a man was under the influence of alcohol when he crashed his pickup truck into an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper’s patrol car on Sunday in southwest Oklahoma City.

It happened at S.W. 29th and Walker. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 2010 Dodge Charger driven by Trooper Mystal Perkins, and a 2004 Nissan Sentra driven by 20-year-old Julian Moreno, were westbound on S.W. 29th when they both stopped for the signal light at Walker.
