Canandaigua mom charged with DWI after crash involving her 5-year-old son

A 28-year-old Canandaigua woman is facing alcohol and drug charges after police said her car rear-ended another vehicle at a toll plaza on the New York State Thruway. Her 5-year-old son was allegedly riding in the back seat, and there were no injuries, police said.

 

On June 16, 2014 just before 6 p.m., New York State Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash at the Canandaigua Toll Plaza of Route 90. Police said 28-year-old Cayleigh Delforte of Canandaigua was driving Monday evening, June 16, when her car allegedly hit another vehicle at Exit 44 near her hometown.
