Berger’s DWI case delayed once again, this time due to storm

The year-old case involving a driving while impaired charge against New Hanover County Commissioner Brian Berger has been delayed again—this time due to forces of nature.

Berger’s case was one of more than 300 that were scheduled to be heard in district court today. Those cases are postponed due to the winter storm that prompted the county courthouse to close a second day this week.
