A Pompano Beach woman was left paralyzed after Broward Sheriff Investigators said a drunk driver hit her car Sunday.

Kim Smith, 55, a therapeutic recreational therapist was heading home from work at Imperial Point Hospital when BSO officials said a driver slammed into her in the 4100 block of Federal Highway in Lighthouse Point.
