District Attorney David Soares called on drunken driving opponents to “let their voices be heard” Friday after a judge allowed a four-time offender on parole to escape prison time for his latest DWI-related offense.
Soares carefully avoided any direct chiding of Albany County Judge Peter Lynch, who imposed the non-jail sentence on Thursday. Instead, Soares beckoned anti-DWI advocates — specifically Mothers Against Drunk Driving — to become more vocal.
