Police in Burlington say a man out of jail on bond for drug charges is now facing charges of DWI and Hit and Run, after a car crashed into a house Wednesday morning.

Police say at approximately 12:54 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Cornwallis Drive on a report of a possible motor vehicle crash. Officers saw a car had wrecked into a house. The driver was missing. Officers pulled registration information on the car and went to the address to talk to the car’s owner, who lived on nearby Moran St.
