The civil trial has begun for the case involving the death of two sisters killed in a DWI crash in Santa Fe.

Dellynn Peshlakai, 19, and her 17-year-old sister, Deshauna, were killed when the vehicle they were in was rear ended by James Ruiz in 2010.

Ruiz had been drinking at Applebees and the Blue Corn Cafe.
