Man shot by DPS trooper during DWI stop early Saturday
A Department of Public Safety trooper shot a man who was resisting arrest and reaching for the trooper's gun early Saturday in Guadalupe County.
DPS trooper Jason Reyes said the man was pulled over for suspicion of DWI at the corner of FM 725 and Leisure Village Drive.
As the trooper began to arrest him, the man resisted to the point where the trooper was forced use a taser on him, Reyes said.
