An Atlanta police officer is on administrative leave after his second DUI arrest in the past two years.
APD spokesperson Gregory Lyon says the Georgia State Patrol arrested Officer Christopher Niezurawski Sunday for driving under the influence. According to the police report, the off-duty officer was pulled over for speeding and weaving in out of his lane. The report said that Niezurawski had “bloodshot and watery eyes” and “had an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath.”
